* 1997-2001 Seoul National University Ph.D., School of Materials Science and Engineering
* 이번 연구를 통해 금속산화물 전극을 염기성 용액으로 전처리하면 황화납 양자점 흡착량이 증가한다는 사실도 확인했다. 이 기술을 적용해 제작한 광전극을 양자점 감응 태양전지에 적용했을 때 광변환 효율이 기존 대비 33%가량 증가한 것으로 나타났다고 전했다. 그뿐만 아니라, 태양광 물 분해에 의한 수소 생산에 적용 시 세계 최고 수준인 22.1밀리암페어 광전류 값을 기록했다고 밝혔다.
* 본 연구 결과는 세계적인 학술저널인 ‘어플라이드 카탈리시스 B : 환경’ 온라인판에 'Highly loaded PbS/Mn-doped CdS quantum dots for dual application in solar-to-electrical and solar-to-chemical energy conversion'이라는 제목으로 게재됐다.
