이차전지 양극소재 개발(2021.07)
- 나노과학기술연구소 이세훈 박사와 박창용 박사과정, 김지창 석사가 주도하고, KIST(한국과학기술연구원) 김형석 박사와 정경윤 박사 등이 공동으로 참여
- 초음파 화학기술로 바나듐 산화물의 ‘폴리옥소메탈레이트 반응(Polyoxometalate reaction)’을 유도, 전기전도도가 높은 바나듐 산염 나노섬유를 개발했다. 개발된 나노섬유에 전도성 고분자의 단량체(monomer)를 삽입, 무기물 결정격자 내부에서 층간 내 중합반응(Interlayer polymerization reaction)을 통해 복합화 하는 세계 최초의 기술 개발에 성공했다.
- 수계아연 이온전지는 전기화학적 성능뿐 아니라 소재의 유연성과 전지의 안전성이 높아 향후 유연성과 안정성을 동시에 필요로 하는 웨어러블 전자기기에 폭넓게 활용될 것으로 기대 받는다.
- 논문(Controlling Vanadate Nanofiber Interlayer via Intercalation with Conducting Polymers: Cathode Material Design for Rechargeable Aqueous Zinc Ion Batteries)은 재료과학 분야 세계적 학술지 「Advanced Functional Materials」의 6월호 표지논문으로도 게재됐다.
